Welcome 2010!

At the Vassallo’s New Year’s day was welcomed with a hearty delicious menu at lunchtime… here it is in Italian with a description in English:

Baccala fritto / Deep fried salted cod fillets served with fresh lemon wedges

Ravioli di ricotta con vongole, zucchine e gamberi / Fresh home-made ravioli filled with ricotta then served with cherry tomatoes, courgettes, clams and king prawns

Oven-baked turbot seasoned with rock salt and fennel seeds served with roasted potatoes and roasted fennel bulbs

Cheescake al ciliegio caramelizzato / Cheesecake prepared with cream cheese and digestive biscuits topped with fresh caramelized cherries
